“For the past 9 years, I’ve put my heart and soul into the wedding industry. I've had the honor of coordinating hundreds of couples weddings at my home wedding venue, Spain Ranch, and through that I've not only developed a love for all the pretty details of a beautifully executed wedding, but I've found my true passion in helping couples design a day that best reflects them and allows them to feel relaxed and present, rather than stressed and overwhelmed.​

I believe that every couple needs access to expert advice and guidance to make their wedding planning efficient, effortless, and fun. It is my goal that the knowledge and experience I can share will gift you a stress-free engagement season and wedding day that not only looks good, but feels good!”

Cecily Hunter

Founder

Lover of all things celebrating, day-dreaming and design, Cecily is the founder and creative visionary of The Event Space. With a decade of experience in the industry, she has had the honor of helping hundreds of couples design and coordinate their day at her home venue, Spain Ranch, and beyond. A wedding designed by Cecily is typically characterized by a timeless design, seamless flow and attention to every detail. From the food and cocktails to the tablescapes and lighting, Cecily specializes in creating a cohesive design that feels meticulously woven throughout the entire event.

When she is not working, Cecily enjoys spending time with her husband, Ruben, and their two rescue Saint Bernards, Zeus and Taz. She enjoys traveling to new places and visiting anywhere with good food, lots of sunshine and a beach.

Gabby Tessier | Lead Planner

Gabby's warmth and creative eye make her a valued member in all areas of planning and coordination for TES. She is a calming presence that makes her clients instantly feel at ease and relaxed with an innate abilty to style, organize and connect with any event. She is always polished, positive, and a quick problem-solver.

Aside from her love for weddings, she enjoys yoga/pilates, decorating her home, trying new restaurants and playing tennis. Originally from New Hampshire, Gabby and her husband Cameron now call Tulsa home along with their Shih Tzu, Georgie.

Her favorite part of wedding planning? "Getting to be the couple’s shoulder to lean on during the planning process and on the day of their wedding. I love that I can help couples live in the moment on their special day when they put their trust in me as their planner!"

Holli Anne Houser | Assist. Coordinator

Queen of timelines, logistics and details, Holli Anne is known for her incredible sense of organization, ability to take charge, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to make the event day run smoothly. She is always five steps ahead, always prepared and always committed to keeping things on track and on schedule.

When she isn’t working weddings, you can find her enjoying an outdoor activity, enjoying a game night, watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, or working out at OrangeTheory. Holli Anne and husband, Kaleb share a rescue dog, Luna, who she describes as 60% sugar and 40% spice.

Her favorite part of the job? "Can I say all of it? Every part of it has its perks between working with sweet couples and the best vendors. My favorite part is probably the timeline from creation to wedding day management. I am a details gal through and through and getting to create and run something that will keep the couple stress free on their wedding day is so fulfilling. Being able to rally behind a couple and go all in to make it the best day of their life and celebrate their love is just so fun!"
